NATIONALCOLLEGEOF EDUCATION

NCE was established in 1976 with the mission to train pre-school teachers for the South of Viet Nam. With 35 year experience, NCE now is one of the most prestigious institutions in training pre-school teachers in Vietnam.

Our four main training programs are Pre-school Education, Music, Arts, Special Education and the others such as Cultural Management, Family Economics (major in nutrition for community), and Graphics. In 2011, we will have some new majors including English and Citizen Education.

In 1995, a Practical kindergarten was set up with the function to educate children and help students do their internship. It also collaborates with the Department of Research Management and International Cooperation to conduct and apply the results of scientific research of teachers and students to reality. There are often about 320 children from 1,5 to 6 years old being educated in our Practical kindergarten, including kids with special needs.

We also have a training center with the specialities to meet social needs such as: Kindergarten director training, Basic organ, Basic computer skills, Aerobics, Baby-sitter skills…

Section 2: International Cooperation

Objective:Expand international cooperation to promote science research of lecturers and students.

From 1998 (Establishment year of Department of Research Management and International Cooperation), we have hosted 22 foreign organizations from different countries such as Australia, U.S.A, France, Singapore, China, Taiwan, Laos, Cambodia. We have organized 9 professional training workshops with the participation of foreign experts, joined the training with LaosPeople"s Democratic Republic, built up cooperative programs for training in Korea and Australia, published over 30 articles in international journals…

Scientific journal
